DIY: Banana Bread Chocolate Chip Muffins

We, the creators, created these marvelous muffins on the same day we made the tie dye cupcakes. One of our family members came home from school with a recipe from their culinary class so we were like "What the heck? Let's try this!" So we improvised with such little vanilla we had left (1/4 tsp) and made banana bread muffins (really a recipe for banana bread, but we made muffins instead) You take any banana bread recipe, but make sure that you mash the bananas and add chocolate chips! Simple! We also added chunks of chocolate if you didn't know (picture to the left). NOTE: If you are making muffins you are going to want to use a muffin/ cupcake tin not a bread tin so don't get confused. Happy crafting!

DIY: Dyed Cupcakes

Before
We created these DIY: Dyed Cupcakes with food coloring. You can use any old vanilla cupcake recipe. It's easy. You split the batter into the number of colors you want. Mix any color or even tie dye them like I did here! Then put them in the tin and watch them bake! You can make a surprise for the people who eat them by adding a color on the inside by layering! I gave one of my cupcakes to someone to eat and they were in utter amazement when they saw the purple on the inside of the orange cupcake! Also, if you are feeling a little extra crafty go to:  http://www.tasteofhome.com/recipes/easy-vanilla-buttercream-frosting
to make a delicious buttercream frosting (NOTE: vanilla extract is optional). Instead of the vanilla we replaced it with Hershey Chocolate Cocoa Powder to make chocolate buttercream frosting. After the frosting we made little sandwhiches with Milano cookies (they may not look pretty, but they taste great!). If you are feeling plain that is fine too! It is a great idea to make chocolate frosting if you have a sweet tooth! Happy crafting!

Human Face

Here is my drawing of a human face. It took me about 2 hours to do. Materials I used were different shades of graphite and charcoal pencils. For this reason it took me a while. My instructions for creating this was on YouTube. The channel's name is Rair2009. Each step is in different videos so make sure to watch all of them. Happy crafting!
