I bet all of you crafters out there have some sort of table and chair for your artwork. The picture to the left is the table I have that includes a foe leather stool. Notice how it's all white and boring. Well... I had a small idea.
What if I took my chair and decorated it similar to a scrap book, vision board, and laminated item? So what I did was I cut out pictures from magazines, placed them on the chair in the order I liked and then put packing tape over it. Viola!
STEP ONE:
Okay... this step is so easy. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A STOOL THAT ALLOWS
TAPE OVER IT! My stool looks like the one above or the one below.
STEP TWO: Cut out pictures from a magazine you like and place them on the stool a couple of different ways to see which ways you like best. I used Seventeen because I like fashion and nail art. The main picture in the middle is from a local newspaper.
STEP THREE: Use some packing tape to carefully cover the pictures. Wrap some tape around the sides as well. You will get a plastic like finish and a laminated like finish as well.
FINISHED PRODUCT: Make sure to keep some tape around because it will wear and tear every now and then. When it does do that just cover it up.
